A Southern girl is a girl who knows full and well that she can open a door for herself but prefers for the gentleman to do it because it demonstrates a sense of respect. After all, every girl wants to be treated like a princess. She knows how to make sweet tea and grits while telling you everything about any football team in the SEC. She picks her battles and fights with the heart of a pit-bull while still maintaining grace and elegance. Her mystique is that of a soft-spoken, mild-mannered southern belle who could direct an army, loves her momma, and will always be daddy's little girl.

Thank you all so much for the encouragement!! I really appreciate all of the support yall showed me! It seems that at one point or another, every blogger has felt the way I do now! It is really easy to get discouraged when activity on your blog begins to slow but as yall have informed me, there are simple ways to get things going again! I will be considering putting together a give away and I will also be commenting a lot more!!

    I have had the same similar type problems- I think it has a lot to do with it being summertime and everyone being just plain busy! I hope you keep blogging though :)

    PS: I meant to reply & let you know I got the star ring from some random shop at the beach- if I remember the name I'll let you know!
